How To Help

Cats Protection relies on the generosity of the general public to be able to do their work for cats, from the smallest donation to a person becoming a volunteer, every little helps. This page will advise you of the ways in which you can help your local branch.

We are always in need of items for raffles and tombolas plus items to sell such as books and bric-a-brac (no clothing or electrical please) for our fundraising events. Or perhaps you could help us to organise these events or make cakes or handicrafts to sell.

If you can help contact us.

Sponsor a Cat Pen

This is a great way to help us. You can make a donation each month to sponsor one of our cat pens.

Contact Us for more information.

Become a Volunteer

Have you got some spare time that you might like to spend doing work for our branch? There is always a need for home visiting, keeping records up to date, transporting cats, public relations, writing for the newsletter etc. Contact us for more information.

Become a Cat Fosterer

Our fosterers take on the care of cats and kittens that have come to us for rehoming. This may be by means of a pen or two in your garden (all expenses are paid by the local branch) fostering kittens in your house for which a kitten pen is provided, or taking on a shy and nervous cat to restore its confidence before rehoming.
