Recycling (Added 16 August 2010 ) Do you have any unwanted or not so useful gifts that are just hanging around in cupboards and taking up valuable space? If so, we would be delighted to lighten your load for a number of raffle/tombola/ fundraising events that we hold throughout the year. If you have anything suitable please pop it into the Food bin in Tesco, Peebles. We would be delighted to make use of them. It's called "recycling the Cat way". A huge "Thank you" as always for the tremendous support you give us.

Biggar Farmers Show (Added 26 July 2010 ) A big thank you to everyone who showed their support for the CP stall at the Biggar Show on Saturday 24th July. We had a great day which was hugely successful in raising awareness of the Branch and what we do. We raised over £150 and 5 people signed up as members - we even may have found a cat a home! It was really an excellent day- so from everyone (cats and committee), a great big THANK YOU. Brenda

2010 Photo competition - winners announced! (Added 20 July 2010 ) We were overwhelmed by the response to the Photo Competition this year as almost 120 prints were entered. We are very grateful to our independent judges, Fiona Fleming and Morris Anderson from local solicitors, Blackwood Smith, who had the very difficult task of picking our winner, identifying our two runners up and choosing all 12 for our calendar. Thanks also go to Morris's daughter, Holly, who was a great help in choosing our best entries. First prize went to Smudgie who belongs to Trish Foster, our Homing Officer. Our two runners up are Flossie and Phantom. A huge thank you to all of you who entered. Quiz Night (Added 26 March 2010 ) We are holding a quiz night at Peebles Rugby Club. The date is confirmed as Friday 20th August. We are looking for teams of 4 who would like to test the old grey matter or even just to come along for a laugh and meet the CP crew. Included in the evening will be a buffet, tea & coffee, wine or soft drinks, a raffle, prizes for the winning team and entertainment. If you are interested please contact any CP committee member. Tickets are £10 per head. If you can give your team a snazzy name even better!

Cats Protection Food Bin In Tesco In Peebles (Added 11 October 2009 ) Cats Protection food bin is still in Tesco store in Peebles. We are delighted that they continue to support us in this way. We depend so much on your help for all the cats and kittens in our care, we couldn't do it without you. Thank you so much.
